Die AVS2-Serie ist die nächste Generation von Edelbrock-Vergasern. Der AVS2 verfügt über einen ringförmigen Primärbooster mit einer neuen Kalibrierung für verbesserte Leerlauf- und Fahrleistungen. Die ringförmige Strömungsverstärkerkonstruktion liefert eine verbesserte Kraftstoffzerstäubung wenn der Vergaser von Leerlauf zu Vollgas übergeht. Jeder ringförmige Booster weist acht gleichmäßig bearbeitete Öffnungen auf, um die Kraftstoffdosierung von Leerlauf bis Volllast zu verbessern. Die verbesserte Durchflussströhmung macht diesen Vergaser ideal für den Einsatz einer Vielzahl von Smallblock- und Big-Block-Motoren mit entweder zwei- oder einteiligen Ansaubrücken. Der AVS2 enthält sowohl lastgesteuerte als auch offene Vakuumanschlüsse für die Frühzündung.
